Descrizione:3'-Bromo-4'-fluoroacetophenone is a kinase inhibitor that binds to the active site of the enzyme protein kinase and inhibits its activity. It has been shown to inhibit amine-activated protein kinases and dna-dependent protein kinases. 3'-Bromo-4'-fluoroacetophenone also inhibits acetylation of proteins by acetylating the nucleophilic amino acid residues. This compound also inhibits acetyltransferases, which are enzymes that catalyze the transfer of an acetyl group from coenzyme A to another molecule, such as a protein or DNA.
