• Descrizione: Boc-Arg(Tos)-OH is a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonist that has been shown to inhibit the growth of herpes simplex virus. Boc-Arg(Tos)-OH binds to the N2A cell line and inhibits the infection, which may be due to its ability to inhibit nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in tissues. This agent has also been shown to be an analog of trehalose and glycopeptide, which have antiviral activity. Boc-Arg(Tos)-OH has synergistic interaction with cyclic peptides and can be used as a solid-phase synthesis for amide derivatives.
