Descrizione:Boc-8-aminocaprylic acid is a linker analog of the anorectic drug amide. It binds to the orexigenic receptor, which leads to the release of neuropeptide Y. This results in decreased food intake and weight loss. Boc-8-aminocaprylic acid has been found to be more potent than other analogs, with a greater anti-obesity effect in obese mice. It has also been shown to have a good safety profile when used orally in rats.
