Descrizione:2-Bromoaniline is a chemical compound that can be prepared by the acylation reaction of an amine with a bromoacetic acid. It has been used as an antimicrobial agent and as a growth factor in tissue culture. 2-Bromoaniline has been shown to inhibit the growth of multi-walled carbon nanotubes, which are known to cause toxicity to cells. 2-Bromoaniline has also been shown to have cytotoxic activity against epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and natural compounds such as morphine, which may be due to its ability to bind with amines and diazonium salt.
