4-Bromo-3-fluorobenzaldehyde is a drug substance that can be used in cancer therapy. It is a cross-linking agent that can form covalent bonds with DNA and proteins, which inhibits the ability of cells to replicate. 4-Bromo-3-fluorobenzaldehyde has been shown to have cytotoxic activity against human cancer cells in culture.
