Descrizione:Boron trifluoride acetic acid is a reactive, antimicrobial substance that belongs to the group of primary amines. It has been shown to have antimycobacterial activity in a number of studies involving cellulose derivatives and an asymmetric synthesis. Boron trifluoride acetic acid has also been shown to react with chloride ions to form hydrochloric acid, which is used as an acid catalyst for the reaction. The viscosity of boron trifluoride acetic acid can be increased by the addition of hydrochloric acid. Boron trifluoride acetic acid is biodegradable and can be decomposed into water and carbon dioxide by microorganisms or chemical reactions.
