Descrizione:
5-Bromo-2-phenylthiazole is a reactive, yellow solid. It reacts with oxidizing agents and has been used to synthesize aryl phosphines by deforming the ring. The reaction of 5-bromo-2-phenylthiazole with UV irradiation can be optimized using ligands. This compound has also been used to synthesize polyhalogenated alkene functional groups through cross coupling reactions with halides.
