Descrizione:cis-1-Bromo-2-Fluoro-Cyclohexane is a molecule with electron density. It has been shown that potassium can be oxidized to give the corresponding radical cation, which then undergoes a sequence of elimination reactions. In these reactions, the bromide ion reacts with sodamide to give the corresponding adduct and a bromine radical cation. The bromine radical cations react with dibromoalkanes to give vicinal dibromides and the hydrogen atoms are eliminated as hydrogen fluoride. These reactions have been studied spectroscopically in solution and in crystals.
