Diisopropylamine hydrobromide is a colorless liquid that has a phase transition temperature of -13.7°C and emits UV light in the range of 200-400 nm. It is soluble in water, alcohols, and ethers. It has been used as an organic solvent for various chemical reactions, including polymerization. Diisopropylamine hydrobromide has also been used as a molecular model to study the vibrational spectra of molecules. This chemical has been widely used in fingerprinting technology and is suitable for use as a sensor in microscopy experiments.
