Descrizione

Carfentrazone-ethyl is a plant growth regulator that inhibits the activity of pyrazole ring hydrolases, which are enzymes that catalyze the cleavage of ester bonds. Carfentrazone-ethyl also prevents protein transport and light emission, which may be due to its inhibitory effects on mitotic checkpoint proteins. This substance has been shown to have an effect on infectious diseases caused by bacteria such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Mycobacterium avium complex. Carfentrazone-ethyl also has anti-inflammatory properties that may be due to its benzimidazole compounds. These compounds inhibit the production of prostaglandins, which are important mediators in many inflammatory responses.
