Descrizione:2-Chloro-3,5-difluoroaniline is an industrial chemical that is used as a starting material in the synthesis of a number of pharmaceuticals and other important chemicals. It can be obtained by hydrodechlorination of aniline or other chloroaromatic compounds. 2-Chloro-3,5-difluoroaniline is also used as an intermediate for the production of arylamines such as diflunisal. The compound has been synthetically produced from the reaction of phosphorus with chlorine gas and ammonia. This compound reacts with water to produce hydrogen chloride and ammonium chloride, which are then reacted with potassium dichromate to yield diflunisal.
