Descrizione:The present invention relates to an efficient method of preparing 2-Cyclopropylpyrimidine-4-carbaldehyde. The method comprises reacting a phenyl phosphite with a carbonyl compound in the presence of an amine. The condensation reaction yields a mixture of 2-Cyclopropylpyrimidine-4-carbaldehyde and its diastereomers.
