Descrizione:2-Chloro-N-(3-cyanophenyl)acetamide is a pyrazole derivative that is used as an active compound for the treatment of cancer. This drug binds to the type 1 receptor of activin, blocking the activation of this protein. The binding of 2-chloro-N-(3-cyanophenyl)acetamide to activin results in a blockage of the cavity, which prevents hydrogen bond formation between activin and its receptor. This drug also has been shown to inhibit tumor growth by inducing apoptosis in prostate cancer cells.
