Descrizione:Cyclobutylboronic acid is a metabolite of cyclobutanone and has been shown to have inhibitory effects on metabolic disorders in mammalian cells. Cyclobutylboronic acid is an inhibitor of the enzyme phosphofructokinase-1 (PFK-1). This inhibition reduces the production of glucose from fructose, leading to insulin resistance. Cyclobutylboronic acid also inhibits inflammatory diseases by inhibiting the activity of proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines. The structural formula for cyclobutylboronic acid is shown below.
