Descrizione:Cycloheptanemethylamine is a κ-opioid receptor agonist. It has been shown to have a bronchial effect in humans, and also has mastocytosis-inhibiting properties. Cycloheptanemethylamine also has an anti-inflammatory effect in the bowel and can be used to treat bowel disease. Cycloheptanemethylamine has been found to inhibit adenosine receptors, which may be useful for treating cardiovascular disorders. Cycloheptanemethylamine also inhibits cancer growth in humans and Schistosomiasis infection in mice. The drug is an allosteric modulator of the κ-opioid receptor, which may be beneficial for treatment of depression and inflammatory bowel disease.
