Informazioni sul prodotto
- 5H-pyrrolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine, 2-chloro-6,7-dihydro-
2-Chloro-6,7-dihydro-5H-pyrrolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine is a fluorescent compound that has been used as an analog for nucleic acids to study the properties of these molecules. The compound is synthesized by photoelectron irradiation of 2,6,7-trihydropurine in a nitrogen laser and photomultiplier tube. It fluoresces with a maximum quantum yield of 0.2 at 645 nm when excited by light at its maximum absorption wavelength of 546 nm. The lifetime of the excited state is constant and synchronously dependent on the input signal frequency or bandwidth. 2CHPP possesses a stable electronic ground state and can be used as a calibration standard in photomultiplier tubes.
2CHPP emits fluorescence with a maximum quantum yield of 0.2 at 645 nm when excited by light at its maximum absorption wavelength of 546 nm.
