Informazioni sul prodotto
Cesium pivalate is an efficient and environmentally friendly method for the synthesis of aryl boronic acids. The reactions are performed in a polymeric matrix, which provides a model system to study the binding activities of functional groups. The cross-coupling reaction between carboxylates and electron-deficient aryl boronic acids is carried out in the presence of butyric acid as an additive. It is one of the more popular methods for synthesizing carboxylates due to its high yield and good functional group tolerance. Cesium pivalate can also be used to synthesize polymers with patterned surfaces that have potential applications in drug delivery or tissue engineering.
