Descrizione:2-Cyanoacetyl chloride is a reactive chemical that can be used as an energy source for cells. It is a metabolic intermediate in the Krebs cycle and is involved in the synthesis of malonic acid, which is an important component of the citric acid cycle. 2-Cyanoacetyl chloride can also be used to generate carboxylic acids, such as acetic acid, from hydrochloric acid and water vapor. This compound has been shown to activate AMPK (AMP-activated protein kinase) activators in vitro and in vivo and may have potential applications in treating metabolic disorders. Furthermore, 2-cyanoacetyl chloride has been shown to be insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents such as benzene or acetone. It is also soluble at higher temperatures with a melting point of -86 degrees Celsius, boiling point of 133 degrees Celsius, and flashpoint of 9 degrees Celsius.
