Descrizione:Chloramine T is a chemical compound that is used as an antimicrobial agent in the treatment of wastewater. Chloramine T reacts with the organic material in wastewater to form chloramines, which are toxic to bacteria. The redox potentials of chloramines are significantly lower than those of chlorine and thus do not react with ammonia. This chemical compound has been shown to be effective against a range of microorganisms, including Gram-positive organisms such as Staphylococcus aureus and Gram-negative organisms such as Escherichia coli. The biological properties of chloramine T have been studied using both model systems and human serum samples.
