Informazioni sul prodotto
- 1-Cyclohexenylcarboxylic acid
Cyclohexene-1-carboxylic acid is a monocarboxylic acid that is found in animal tissues. It has been shown to bind to the receptor binding site on the influenza virus and inhibit viral replication. 1-Cyclohexene-1-carboxylic acid also reacts with phosphotungstic acid and aliphatic hydrocarbon to form a polymer film, which has been used as an experimental antiviral agent against influenza viruses in animal experiments. Cyclohexene-1-carboxylic acid can be converted into amides or hydroxyl groups through reaction with anhydrous sodium, which are important reaction intermediates in the synthesis of various organic compounds. Reaction products of cyclohexene-1-carboxylic acid are mainly anhydrides and esters.
