Descrizione

2-Chloroethyl phenyl sulphide is a polymer film that has a constant, crystalline structure. It is used in the production of photocatalytic devices and has been shown to have hydrolytic activity with silver ions. 2-Chloroethyl phenyl sulphide reacts with water vapor to produce hydrogen sulfide and has an optimal reaction temperature of 150°C. 2-Chloroethyl phenyl sulphide also has a second-order rate constant of 1.2×10^5 M^-1s^-1 and a neutral pH, which makes it suitable for use in biological assays.
