The synthesis of 5-(3-chlorophenyl)-2H-tetrazole has been shown to be possible with various azides and halides. Furthermore, this compound has been found to contain functional groups such as nitro, nitrile, carboxylic acid, phenolic hydroxyl group, and amino.
