Descrizione:1-Chloro-3-Fluoroisopropanol is a fluorinated alcohol that is used as a reagent in organic synthesis. It has been shown to be useful for the preparation of enantiopure compounds, such as specific antibodies and chemoenzymatic products. 1-Chloro-3-Fluoroisopropanol can also be used for the oxidation of secondary alcohols with molecular oxygen to produce ketones or carboxylic acids. This chemical can be used in diagnostic procedures, such as positron emission tomography (PET), which is a medical imaging technique that uses short-lived radioactive isotopes to create images of organs and tissues inside the body. 1-Chloro-3-Fluoroisopropanol has also been shown to inhibit antibody response by binding to an antigen's epitope and displacing it from its receptor site on an antibody molecule. The resulting antibody response is reduced without affecting the antigen's function
