• Descrizione: 1,2-Dilauroyl-rac-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DLPC) is a synthetic phospholipid that exhibits significant cytotoxicity against hyperproliferative cells. DLPC has been shown to inhibit the activity of the enzyme sphingosine 2-phosphate (S2P) and cell factor, both of which are important in signal transduction pathways. DLPC is capable of inducing phase transition at a temperature close to body temperature, making it biocompatible for use as a topical or injectable drug. It has also been shown to be effective in treating infectious diseases such as HIV and malaria, due to its ability to bind with basic proteins found on the surface of these viruses.
