Descrizione

Dracorhodin is a natural compound that belongs to the class of cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of pro-apoptotic protein (Bax) and increase the mitochondrial membrane potential in HL-60 cells, leading to apoptosis. Dracorhodin has also been shown to inhibit squamous cell carcinoma growth in an experimental model. This drug has biological studies that show its effectiveness as a treatment for infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, leishmaniasis, and malaria. Dracorhodin is a potent inhibitor of cyclin D2 and dextran sulfate, which are proteins involved in cell proliferation.
