Descrizione:Dopexamine hydrochloride is a drug that can be used to increase the blood flow in the body. It has been shown to increase cardiac output and improve coronary artery blood flow, as well as increase systemic arterial blood pressure. Dopexamine hydrochloride also increases renal perfusion by decreasing afterload and increasing cardiac output. The drug has been demonstrated to have no effect on cerebral or mesenteric blood flow. Dopexamine hydrochloride is metabolized by esterases in the liver and kidney, with a half-life of about 4 hours.
