Descrizione:Dextrorphan is a chemical that is structurally related to the opioid dextromethorphan. Dextrorphan has also been shown to inhibit the transcriptional activity of response elements. The matrix effect is a phenomenon where the presence of substances in the extracellular matrix can interfere with drug transport through the membrane, which may result in a lower concentration of drugs reaching their target site. Dextrorphan may also act as a transporter or competitive inhibitor of drug transporters such as P-glycoprotein.
