Descrizione:Dipotassium 7-hydroxynaphthalene-1,3-disulphonate is a drug that binds to basic proteins and inhibits the activity of the enzyme spermatocyte meiosis. It has been used in clinical trials for the treatment of male infertility, which have shown improved sperm motility and reduced sperm abnormalities. The drug also has an effect on the cells of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) patients, but these effects are dependent on radiation therapy. Dipotassium 7-hydroxynaphthalene-1,3-disulphonate slows down the growth of ALL cells by binding to their receptors and blocking DNA synthesis.
