Descrizione

Dodecylsuccinic anhydride is a reactive anhydride that is used in detergent compositions. Dodecylsuccinic anhydride has been shown to have a low acute toxicity, and it is not irritating to skin or eye. Dodecylsuccinic anhydride forms water-soluble drugs by reacting with amines, which are usually found in soaps and cosmetics. Dodecylsuccinic anhydride also reacts with the hydroxyl group of fatty acids, forming particle products. The particle size can be controlled by the reaction time and temperature. This product is often used in metal cleaning compositions because it inhibits corrosion, adhesion of metal particles, and scaling due to its ability to react with metals at high temperatures.
