Descrizione:Dodecyl hydrogen sulfate is a surfactant that is used in the treatment of infectious diseases. It has been shown to have some anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to treat skin infections, such as acne or folliculitis. Dodecyl hydrogen sulfate also has antimicrobial effects, which are due to its ability to inhibit bacterial growth by binding to the surface of cells and disrupting their membrane. This surfactant also has a low toxicity for humans and other organisms.
Dodecyl hydrogen sulfate is soluble in water and can be mixed with other chemicals, such as benzalkonium chloride, ammonium chloride, sodium dodecyl sulfate, or crystalline cellulose. It is an excellent solvent for organic solvents and can be used as an analytical reagent for titration calorimetry. Dodecyl hydrogen sulfate also exhibits fluorescence properties when combined with a fluorescent probe, making it useful for labelling DNA probes or proteins
