Descrizione:4,6-Dimethylbenzene-1,3-diol is a synthetic amphoteric surfactant used in combination with hexamethylenetetramine to form a reactive intermediate. This product is used as a naphthalene solvent and an additive for benzyl groups. It is also used for the manufacture of cationic polymers and hydrogen peroxide. 4,6-Dimethylbenzene-1,3-diol can be oxidized by hydrogen peroxide to form oxidation products that are soluble in organic solvents. The ethyl group on this product can be replaced by other groups such as proton or hydrocarbon groups.
