Descrizione:N-Dodecylphosphonic acid is a cationic surfactant that is used as a dietary supplement. It has been shown to have optical properties, such as light emission and fluorescence, and thermal expansion properties. N-Dodecylphosphonic acid also reacts with sodium carbonate to form sodium dodecyl phosphate (SDDP) in the presence of water. SDDP has been shown to have hydrophilic interactions with proteins in chromatography experiments. This molecule also has chemical reactions with organometallic compounds, such as copper(II) acetate, which leads to the formation of copper dodecyl phosphate (CDP).
