Informazioni sul prodotto
- 2-(5-Dimethylaminonaphth-1-ylsulfonamido)ethyl mercaptan5-(Dimethylamino)-N-(2-mercaptoethyl)-1-naphthalenesulfonamide
Dansylamidoethyl mercaptan is a molecule that reacts with the -SH group of proteins and other thiol-containing molecules. It has been shown to react with biological samples in vitro, and also has been shown to have biological properties. Dansylamidoethyl mercaptan binds to protein cysteine residues through covalent adduct formation and may be used as a probe for S-S bonds in proteins. This molecule can form reactive electrophiles that may cause allergic reactions on skin contact. It has been shown to react with usnic acid, nonetheless, it does not react with ascaridole or thp-1 cells.
