Descrizione:Decamethyltetrasiloxane is a hydrochloric acid-soluble, linear, volatile silicon-containing organic polymer that has been used in wastewater treatment. Decamethyltetrasiloxane is made up of 10 silicon atoms and 4 methyl groups. It has a low viscosity and high solubility in water, making it suitable for use as a film-forming polymer. Decamethyltetrasiloxane can also be used in biological treatments such as the removal of nitrogen and phosphorous from wastewater by using glycol esters with reactive functional groups. The particle size of decamethyltetrasiloxane is typically less than 100 nm. This product is not reactive with biological systems and does not have any known receptor binding sites.
