Descrizione

Deterenol hydrochloride is a diagnostic agent that binds to adrenergic receptors and inhibits the release of fatty acids. It is used in assays to measure the concentration of fatty acid in urine samples. Deterenol hydrochloride is also a pharmaceutical dosage form that can be found as a dietary supplement or food ingredient. Deterenol hydrochloride has been shown to have inhibitory effects on fatty acid release in cells, which may be due to its ability to bind to adrenergic receptors. The drug has conformational properties that are similar to those of an endogenous fatty acid and has been shown to bind with high affinity to adrenergic receptors.
