Descrizione:Dibenzosuberol is a primary alcohol that binds to glucocorticoid receptors. It has been shown to inhibit the production of hydroxyl radicals, which are reactive oxygen species that are generated during inflammation and oxidative stress. Dibenzosuberol also inhibits the interaction between integrins and virus particles, which prevents attachment and entry into cells. This chemical compound has been used in diagnostic tests for detecting cyclic hydrocarbons in organic solvents with a high reactivity yield. Dibenzosuberol is not active against cancer cells associated with human mammary gland tumors, such as MCF-7 cells.
