Descrizione:Diphenylacetyl chloride is a synthetic amide which has been used in the treatment of cancer. It is also used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. This drug has been shown to be effective in transferring reactions in the synthesis of natural products, such as amides, ureas, and hydroxylamines. In addition, it has been found that this compound can be used to synthesize a number of carbohydrates, including glycosides and saccharides. Diphenylacetyl chloride can also react with hydroxyl groups or anilines to form acylation products. The mechanism by which this drug works is not well understood but it is thought that it may inhibit the production of oxytocin receptor proteins.
