• Descrizione: N,N-Dimethyl-histidine is a zwitterion formed by the combination of two molecules of the amino acid histidine. It is a derivative of methylhistidine, which is a fungal metabolite. N,N-Dimethyl-histidine has been shown to be an injectable form of methylhistidine and can be used as a metabolic marker in animals and humans. The radioactivity level of N,N-Dimethyl-histidine can be measured using an electron spin resonance spectrometer. N,N-Dimethyl-histidine also has oxidizing properties that have been demonstrated in the oxidation of l-(3-[14C]methylaminopropyl)-3-[14C]methacryloxymethyl)benzene.
