Descrizione:3,5-di-tert-butylaniline is an acid that is stable in aqueous solution. It has been shown to be a ligand for the thiolate group of metal ions and forms imines with thiazoles. 3,5-di-tert-butylaniline can be used as a template for the synthesis of polymers and as a monomer for condensation reactions. This compound also undergoes condensation reactions with methanol to form tetrahydropyridines.
