Descrizione

2',6'-Dihydroxy-4,4'-dimethoxydihydrochalcone is a potential anticancer agent that has cytostatic effects. It inhibits the activities of hepg2, an enzyme that is involved in lipid synthesis and fatty acid metabolism. It also induces apoptosis in cancer cells by activating the caspase-9 pathway. 2',6'-Dihydroxy-4,4'-dimethoxydihydrochalcone has been shown to inhibit protein synthesis and induce autophagy in cancer cells. The compound also binds to annexin, a protein that plays a role in the regulation of apoptosis, which may contribute to its anticancer activity.
