Descrizione

Dihydroformononetin is a dietary flavonoid found in plants. It has been used to treat vaginal atrophy, which is a condition that can be caused by estrogen deficiency. Dihydroformononetin has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects and may act as an estrogen receptor modulator. Studies have shown that dihydroformononetin binds to the estrogen receptor and prevents it from binding with other hormones, such as progesterone or testosterone, thereby preventing them from activating the receptor. This prevents the production of inflammatory cytokines, which are responsible for chronic diseases such as arthritis and asthma.
