Descrizione:3,5-DIBROMONITRO BENZENE is a fungicide that inhibits the growth of fungi by inhibiting the synthesis of proteins and nucleic acids. It has been shown to be effective against Trichoderma, Trichophyton (fungi), and Verrucaria (molds) in laboratory studies. 3,5-DIBROMONITRO BENZENE is used as a preservative for grain and other foodstuffs. 3,5-DIBROMONITRO BENZENE is synthesized by reacting benzene with bromine in the presence of an alkali metal salt. It has also been shown to inhibit Myrothecium verrucaria, which causes disease in plants such as soybeans and rice.
