Descrizione:Diazanium hexafluorosilicate is an acidic compound that belongs to the class of coordination compounds. The x-ray diffraction data show it has a molecular formula of DZnF6 and a molecular weight of 813.18 g/mol. Analysis of the compound by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy showed that it has a high affinity for epidermal growth factor (EGF) and inhibits the EGF receptor on cells, leading to decreased proliferation and increased apoptosis of cells. Diazanium hexafluorosilicate also has antimicrobial properties, which may be due to its coordination geometry and ability to alter mitochondrial membrane potential. It can be used as an analytical method for ammonium ions in water vapor by measuring hydrogen fluoride released when ammonium reacts with diazanium hexafluorosilicate in water vapor containing sodium carbonate, hydrogen fluoride, or fatty acid.
