Informazioni sul prodotto
- Benzene, 1,2-Dibromo-3-Fluoro-
- 2,3-Dibromofluorobenzene
The structural formula of 1,2-Dibromo-3-Fluoro-Benzene is C6H4Br2F. This aromatic hydrocarbon is a potential precursor to the drug Bupropion. It can be synthesized by reacting 2,4,6-trichlorobenzoyl chloride with sodium dibromide in the presence of tetrazole and ultraviolet light. The synthesis methods for this compound are nitrogen atoms, carboxylic acid anhydride, and haloform reaction. It has been shown that 1,2-Dibromo-3-Fluoro-Benzene binds to progesterone receptor and can inhibit ovulation in humans and other mammals. As a result it has been used as a form of contraception. In addition, it has been shown that 1,2-Dibromo-3-Fluoro-Benzene inhibits the growth of HIV infection in human T cells and is being investigated
