Descrizione:Ethyl isothiocyanate (EITC) is a natural product that has been shown to inhibit cell cycle progression in lung fibroblasts. EITC inhibits the activity of cyclohexane ring-containing molecules, which are involved in the synthesis of DNA and RNA. It also inhibits the production of hydrochloric acid, which is an important component of the stomach acid necessary for digestion. EITC has been found to induce apoptosis in cancer cells, as well as allergic reactions. EITC has been used as a food preservative and flavouring agent in mustard and other condiments such as horseradish, wasabi, and soy sauce.
