Beta-Endorphin (β-EP) is a peptide hormone that has a number of biological properties. It binds to kappa opioid receptors and affects the function of various cells in the body. β-EP is also potent inducers of pluripotent stem cells and has been shown to reduce pain and inflammation, as well as having anti-inflammatory properties. β-EP may also have some physiological effects on the brain, including increasing blood flow to the brain, affecting memory, and reducing stress levels.
