Informazioni sul prodotto
E/Z-BCI hydrochloride is a histone deacetylase inhibitor that binds to the active site of histone deacetylase and prevents it from removing acetyl groups from lysine residues on histones. It has been shown to have anticancer effects in vivo by inhibiting the growth of multiple myeloma cells, as well as decreasing the size of tumors in mice. E/Z-BCI hydrochloride also has a cardioprotective effect by preventing infarction and cardiac dysfunction after ischemia-reperfusion injury. The molecular mechanism includes inhibition of neutrophil recruitment, cellular infiltration, and elongation of collagen fibers. These effects are mediated by acetylation modifications that lead to decreased inflammation and collagenolytic activity.
