The binding constants for 2-ethylnaphthalene with different solvents have been determined using solid phase microextraction (SPME) coupled with mass spectrometry (MS). The detection sensitivity of this compound can be increased by using chromatographic methods such as gas chromatography or high performance liquid chromatography.
