Descrizione

Epifriedelanol is a sesquiterpene lactone that belongs to the group of natural compounds. This molecule is produced by the plant B. dracunculifolia and has shown anti-inflammatory properties in vitro. Epifriedelanol has been shown to inhibit mitochondrial membrane potential and activity index, which are important for cancer cell growth and survival. Epifriedelanol also has anticancer effects on colorectal adenocarcinoma cells as well as skin cancer cells. It may also be used for urinary tract infections due to its inhibition of bacterial growth.
