Descrizione:2-Fluorothiophenol is a reactive organic acid that is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other chemicals. It reacts with hydrogen and chloride to form hydrogen chloride and sodium hydrogen fluorothiophenolate, which are useful for the manufacture of dyes, perfumes, and pesticides. 2-Fluorothiophenol reacts with fatty acids to form esters. The magnesium salt of 2-fluorothiophenol is used as an insecticide against aphids, leafhoppers, and thrips. This product is also used in the production of polymers.
